[singlepic=52,320,240,,]I’m in a toon mood lately. Here’s my favorite Badree Nym giving her friend a “run for his money.”
I think I’ve finally nailed down the technique I want to use for that upcoming project of mine.

I actually uploaded this one yesterday. I discovered I can use textures with the toon shader, though transmaps do need the sketch shader. Next I’ll try a single source light for the figure.
Nude in the Rain
I spent all day working on this, rendering with different lights. Then I discovered that, using the shaders I did meant too many layers ruined the effect. I’m still not happy with it, but I learned a few things from the process. I like the effect of the toon shaded person over the normally rendered setting, with shadows to put the person into the scene. I did this all as one scene, but for the project I’m starting, I need something a little faster. Hair can’t be done with the toon shader, so that’s done with the sketch shader - which turned out very well. The only thing I don’t like is the eyes, but that may be the lighting.
